Math and Lit I’m very, VERY displeased with, math especially. I knew my marking period grade was a C+ (which was brought up from a C-, and I was probably that close to a B-), and I thought my midterm grade was going to be awful – but this is discouraging. If anything, I’m completely humiliated to let my parents see this grade, and I know only punishment, great punishment, can come out of it. As for my lit exam grade, which is also very bad considering my literature experience and interest, I’ll be punished for too.
And yes! My chemistry grade was not a 95… I had looked at the wrong number, sadly. My student ID is 82645, and our teacher listed grades by student ID numbers. Just below “82645″ was “82675″ – it turns out that it is 82675 who has a 95, and poor 82645 has an 84. I’m truly disheartened, but I must tip my hat to 82675.
I’ll post the rest of my grades when I get them.

Don’t be too disheartened bro. There comes a time for everyone when they get less than satisfactory grades, according to their own standards.
Cherish the good and the bad. If anything, this should push you harder to get fantastic results next time and redeem yourself in front of .. yourself =)
When discouraging things happen, you can take it in either of 2 directions. You can a. become depressed, sad and too angry at yourself thus holding yourself back further, or b. act as a bitter pill that will only aid you on your way to excellence. I hope you’ll be of those who choose the latter.
Rooting for you as always

Don’t worry Jay. I am sure you will do better next term, infact I am sure of it. Just make sure you don’t do it for anyone else except yourself, like the Asianess said.
Keep chugin’ like Thomas the Train.
