MGTalk running on PalmOS 5

Prepare to be amazed! (or at least interested)

I have gotten MGTalk running nearly flawlessly on PalmOS 5 Garnet, on my T|X. I also have screenshots. Everything seems to work as it should, and of course some form of internet connection must be available. The graphics are still in their low-res phone sizes, so they look blocky on the TX’s high resolution screen. That’s only minor, though. Everything else works as it should, though I’m more used to the input area being at the bottom of the window, and the newer text also appearing at the bottom.

Soundtracks n’ Sand now on the site

As the title says, the Maple Story Soundtrack is now hosted entirely by this site. Use the link on the sidebar to go to the page with the music. Happy downloading!

As the titel also says, the second Falling Sand Game, Hell of Sand, is also now on the site. Use the link in this post to go play it, or find the "Falling Sand Game" link in the sidebar, and then click on "Hell of Sand" in there.

Maple Story Music

Well, it couldn’t get its own domain name, but now it’s here. Maple Story Music - if you’ve ever played the game (which I find horrid, by the way), you probably know the music. If it doesn’t annoy you to no end, you probably like the music, too. So, over the passed long time I’ve travelled with my character recording the music, since nobody else seemed to have a soundtrack available for download. Mine is currently the most complete on the internet today - because it offers every track from Global Maple Story as of… the most recent musical update! I strive for quality, so all tracks are the highest quality you want them to be (320kbps), and I don’t comprimise for anything less.

Am I missing a track? Email me at blog [at] thejasoneffect.net and let me know, and I’ll record it as soon as possible. If there’s a level requirement, be sure to let me know!

Check it out here, or use the link "Maple Story Music" on the sidebar to see it.

The music right now is NOT hosted on this site, but my other website http://www.xoram.net/. This weekend the files will be shifted over.

Google Analytics

This site is now connected with Google Analytics, my favorite stats program. Chances are, since I’m an uber-nerd, I check the stats more than people visit this site. It’s fun, like a hobby :P

I’m excited that they’re finally handing out invitation codes again. I’ve been waiting a couple months to get mine, so it’s a real treat. How I’ve used it so far leaves me very satisfied - you can set up multiple websites within Analytics, and luckily people are smart enough to make plugins for WordPress that support this fine product. Oh, and we can’t forget the best part - it’s free.

The Start of a Sunrise

I’ve finally gotten around to painting the sunrise from Mexico. The preliminary sketch is complete, and I have scanned it into my computer to use as an outline for either an acrylic or watercolor painting. It will be painting through Corel Painter with my Wacom Intuos3 9×12 - I can’t wait to start this! To see a larger version of the thumbnail, click on it. Even that is still a small version of how big the outline really is, so I look forward to making a pretty high resolution painting. :D

IETD: I Evaluate the Day

A philosophy on life, I have decided, can only be contrived by someone who constantly writes a new philosophy discovered every single day of their life. Before they die, they compile these philosophies and, out of all of them, pick the most important or make a new one based on the lives worth of philosophies. That is the philosophy of life.
