Like I said, I’ll be posting Europe journal entries starting at least by the end of this week. It’s been a bit tough because of the family goings on, and I’d like to personally thank everyone who has been here, and even not literally here at the house, giving support to everyone in the family. It really does help.

I’ve been clearing up a few matters, playing around with getting my Dad’s laptop up to speed with the world, and preparing to paint two acrylic paintings this summer. I’ve ordered the paints, after some arguments with my mom, and it should all be arriving this Friday. Once I’ve checked out that I got everything I needed to get, I’ll set up my pallette and be on my way!

What have I painted already this summer? What do I plan to paint? Here’s a sample…

What I’ve done: A painting as a gift for a friend-who-can’t-speak-so-loud’s birthday.

What I plan: An acrylic painting of roses, which were given to my mother by my father. It will be dedicated to him.

I also plan on finishing the sunrise painting, which has gotten nowhere beyond local color layout. I don’t count that as an acrylic painting, since the ink is digital. However, the second painting is a "sequal" to the first one. You’ll see.

In other news… World War III!
