Ah, life is good. With National Novel Writing month at its close, I have much more free time – time that is now taken up playing Twilight Princess. I thought I couldn’t enjoy a Zelda game after running zeldauniverse.net, but how wrong I was! This game is good, pretty damn good. Good enough for me to be on the third to last dungeon already!

Notes for readers:
- Get a Wii
- Get Twilight Princess

As for my NaNo novel, I’m aiming for publication. I’m also entering a statewide writing contest for some sort of governor’s award, and the entry will be a manipulated excerpt from my novel made to look like its own standalone short story, since I can’t submit an entire novel (the maximum length for a prose fiction entry is ten pages). I have until December eleventh to do so. Wish me luck in winning the contest! I’ll have craploads of competition, many of whom are probably more skilled than I in writing and mechanics.

Publication is just around the corner, and so I begin to edit parts of my novel and learn how to look for agents and such! I’ll be addressing my Great Uncle for assistance in this area, who has several textbooks published and knows the process quite well. I’m prepared for rejections all around, and then that one wonderful accepting reply… I can’t wait!
