SAT scores!

I’m definitely retaking it… ;). Math is the only thing I can be satisfied with. The others make me cringe.

Critical Reading: 630
Math: 720
Writing: 670

I’m going to resume tutoring classes and focus mainly on critical reading. Writing isn’t really a problem; I scored near perfect on the essay (10 out of 12, but either one isn’t bad), and it’s most lilely stupid mistakes that brought me down, but we’ll see what it was when the score reports come in on April 7th. Or is it April 9th? Either way, some time around there. I hope it was mostly stupid mistakes, and not something I really didn’t know.

You know…

…when has any project creator ever stuck to a release date anyway? >_>…

Soundtrack Status

Golden Sun Soundtrack - Currently recording up to track 30, planning a large track release for next weekend up to track 40, mostly because I have too much work to make all the links right now.

Maple Story Soundtrack - Pretty much the same deal, only look for an update this week, not this coming weekend.

Is everything just a cross section?

Image from WikipediaMore recently in math I’ve come to the conclusion that every graph we make is a cross section of something three-dimensional. This is probably wrong, but I can’t help but wonder in my n-dimensional mind, are many of our polar graphs simply cross sections of 3D shapes?

Now IE-Optimized

As much as I don’t like IE, I just spent all morning fixing this site so that it DOESN’T look like crap in it. So now, when you visit this blog in IE, it will look, well, pretty much exactly the same as when in Firefox! I know, I’m amazing. ;)

Several things of which have happened.

1.) I made a new MIDI last Sunday morning in two hours. It’s originally from Baten Kaitos Origins. Click here to hear it.

SAT time.

I was going to post yesterday about this, but forgot. I was also going to post about various other things, but realized I should do this first.

In about one hour, I start SAT testing. I’ve been taking tutoring courses and I think I should get every section in high 600’s/low 700’s. My score for the simulated test that I took while in tutoring was as follows:

Math: 670
Critical Reading: 630 (ugh)
Writing: 730 (duh)

Writing and math have gone up since. Math is now a 700, writing about a 750. I haven’t really been tested on critical reading since then, but I did practice a bit, so I’m sure that’ll be higher, too. Wish me luck!

I found this thing on my desktop.

Didn’t even know I ever recorded this. Maybe I posted it in the past or something. Dunno. It was a file called “test.wav” on my desktop and I never really knew what it was because it had been there for so long. So, yep. I think the song I sang was from Tsubasa.

Hear it and pass one minute of your time.

On another note, I have begun re-recording the Golden Sun Soundtrack again, using Audacity as my recording software. I don’t nlike Audacity for recording truly high-quality stuff, because I’m skeptical that it leaves a hiss in the background, but there isn’t much else I can do since the software I used to work with isn’t compatible with Vista (damn you, Creative). I was going to have the first 10 tracks up today (0-10, not 0-9, so technically the first 11), but the software I use to do my awesome compression seems to have an error decoding the saved recordings. I never had this problem in the past. I might have to look for another recording software.

More stuff later.

A Little Tip For Writers

Today I had the privelage of glancing over my second novel, Faceless, which is heading towards its second draft. I’ve had a teacher look at it, and she is still currently looking at it, but I’ve realized something now that I’ve begun to look it over myself.

My writing sucks.

Bloggst

My long time (I’m defining what “long” means here) friend Lars has opened up his new site today, and I feel it only dutiful to him to pimp it on this site. Therefore, I am placing a link in this post, and ever should he create a shiny rectangular button for his site, I will put it in the Links section.

If you have any interest in blogs or blogging - any at all - I advise you to take a good look at it! My predictions say it will get off to a nice start.
