"We were Irish."

Nice touch. It caught me as I read it, left me wondering if it was a grammatical error. Then the explanation left me smiling. Very nice. Very sneaky. ^_^

Jeez thats long! I've read some of it and it sounds a lot better than Faceless. Anyway, Im finding NaNoWriMo really really hard. So far I have almost a thousand words. Maybe it will be easier tomorrow. I only have a foggy idea where my plot is going. Anyway, here's an excerpt from the very beginning; tell me what you think Jason.

“Connection to metaverse established” softly whispered an ancient voice, lost for centuries under dust and gloom, waiting to be uncovered, yearning to be unleashed unto the world. Thousands of miles above the surface of the planet, a metal sphere awakened to the message that had been sent across the inky void. It hummed and clicked gently to itself as its sluggish innards began to pulse. “User recognition failed. Create temporary guest access point?” asked the voice politely, back on the planet’s surface. Now, another voice broke the silence to answer the question, this time a young human’s. “Yes” it uttered hesitantly. A few seconds of silence passed.

This is great! It takes a lot for me to get interested in stories and such and now that I'm asking myself "what's going to happen next?" and "why did this happen?" I find myself intreagued!

Can't wait for more!
