    • Served Christmas meal to senior citizens.

    • Participated in walk for diabetes, and donated money to the foundation.

  • Meadowbrook Day Camp (2005)
    • Worked eight weeks as a camp counselor supervising a group of about twenty seven and eight-year-olds.
  • Meadowbrook Day Camp (2004-2005)
    • Worked as a “bus counselor”, monitoring children during the bus ride to the day camp.
  • Zelda Universe (2004-Present)
    • (http://www.zeldauniverse.net/) Administered website for two years, then purchased website and now own/operate the business. It is currently the largest online database of The Legend of Zelda information, with a community of over 51,000 users, a daily reach of over 350,000 people, and a staff of over fifty content writers, journalists, and discussion board moderators.
  • Zelda Wiki.org (2005-Present)
    • (http://www.zeldawiki.org) Founded website, have since partnered with the founder of StrategyWiki.org, and discussed deals with the founder of Wikia.com, partner to the founder of Wikipedia.org. Currently the largest and most active Wiki-based repository of The Legend of Zelda information, appearing in most Google search results for anything related to The Legend of Zelda.

    • I have presented on several topics, including antimatter (and its uses) and NASA’s plasma research (connected with my Drexel summer program).
  • New Jersey Physics Olympics 2008 Team Captain
  • National Novel Writing Month (2006-Present)
    • Participants join other authors every November to celebrate writing by compiling a 50,000-word rough draft novel in only 30 days. My first year with NaNoWriMo spawned a 53,000-word novel (Secured), my second year an 81,000-word novel (Faceless), and my third year a 107,000-word novel entitled Spawn. In 2008, I will write my fourth novel with the goal of once again surpassing 100,000 words. Both Faceless and Spawn are readable from this website.

    • (http://www.thejasoneffect.net/) You’re looking at it right now. This is my weblog (“blog”), where I post day-to-day thoughts and opinions. I also use the website as a repository (and soon full-fledged portfolio) for my art, writing (including full text of my NaNoWriMo novels from 2007 forward), photography, musical creations, and various other projects.

Summer Experiences

  • American Music Abroad Red Tour (Summer 2006)
    • Traveled to Europe with Barbara Retzko, Ridge High School’s choral director, and several other teachers from Northeastern USA schools. The choir was composed of about 150 students, and we toured Austria, Italy, Switzerland, France, and Germany during a 3-week period, giving concerts in select cities.
  • Drexel Summer Mentorship Program (Summer 2007)
    • Worked on a NASA-funded project for three weeks, designing and building a non-thermal atmospheric pressure plasma-wielding robot that could use said plasma to sterilize surfaces. These small “cockroach” robots will eventually roam the surfaces of NASA spacecraft after their reentry into earth, in order to destroy any alien bacteria that may have survived reentry.

    • I record both my own playing through a MIDI input on my computer, and create MIDI’s through MIDI creation software, which I apply realistic synthesizers to in order to produce realistic sounds.

  • Photography
    • I use my photos as references for paintings and drawings. I also keep a photo library, and do a good deal of digital manipulation in Photoshop.
